Obviously more on the 1st generation since it has had the longer production run. The folks over at - Powered by VBoost have TONS of information on both models. I can only imagine with the much bigger motor and better controls, the newer model is extremely venerable. When the V-Max came out in 1985, it was the fastest bike you could buy.
